Abstract : A study on characteristics of 90 mango cultivars, 37 exotic cultivars and 53 local cultivars at Pakchong Research Station, Pakchong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. In the 48th Kasetsart University Annual Conference A study on characteristics of mango cultivars for breeding utilization could be collected the information of 44 mango cultivars completely but other mango cultivars were incomplete because the problems of low temperature during flowering effected to bearing fruit and spreading of diseases and insects resulted to many mangoes damaged. The study could be continued to be completely as the basic information for researching aspect of mango such as leaf shape, leaf apex, leaf base, leaf margin, leaf blade, fruit shape, cross section, depth of stalk cavity, prominence of neck, shape of ventral, shape of dorsal, groove at fruit base, sinus, beak and evaluation of agricultural description of mangoes such as fruit size, fruit weight, peel weight, flesh weight, seed weight, seed size, the percentage of the sugar of 28 mango cultivars, 13 Exotic cultivars and 15 Local cultivars. The information of them was collected in the plant database of mango book to be used for adjusting mango cultivars and breeding utilization.
