Investigation on population dynamics of Empoasca vitis (Gothe) of different planting patterns.

Abstract : Based on different planting patterns tea of higher elevation area in Yunnan Xishuangbanna. Population dynamics of Empoasca vitis (Gothe) were systematically investigated in natural growth of the tea garden of tea germplasm nursery, the Mango-tea intercrop, the Rubber-tea intercrop and the pure tea garden from 2007 to 2008. The results showed that the differences of Population Dynamics of Empoasca vitis (Gothe) on diversified planting patterns were remarkable. There were two peaks a year, the first peak was from May to June, the second peak was from October to November; and no overwintering phenomenon was observed.
