Nutritional characterization of mango 'Tommy Atkins' tree with potassium fertilization.

Abstract : The leaf N, P and K contents of mango cv. 'Tommy Atkins', supplied with K fertilizer (at 0, 50, 100 and 150 g KCl/plant), was determined in a commercial orchard in Ipanguaçu, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The contents of N and K decreased with the increase in rates of KCl both during flowering and fructification stages. The decreasing order of the transport of nutrients to the leaves was N > K > P and to the fruits was K > N > P.
