Abstract : This paper describes the status of the mango industry in Brazil and provides an overview of mango production in Minas Gerais, where production areas are proliferating. The economic, preharvest (cultivars, cultural treatments, pests and diseases) and postharvest aspects of mango production in the region are covered.
