Planning of a fertilization management program to the mango culture in the region of Mossoró-RN.

Abstract : The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency in the use of methodology for the design of fertilization with NPK in a management program for growing mango cv. 'Tommy Atkins' in the region of Mossoró-RN. The plan was drawn up and calculated in the Windows environment, using the Excel spreadsheet to perform calculations. For schedule of management was used urea, superphosphate and potassium chloride as a source of fertilizer to meet the nutritional needs of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, respectively, taking based on the nutrient content of commercial formula specified by the manufacturer. The area for the validation study consisted of a 1 ha orchard located on the farm Paulicéia, city of Mossoró-RN. The test showed no statistical significance between the values-studied and scaled to the area under study with the mango. It can be concluded that the fertilizer management program developed for mango cv. 'Tommy Atkins' to the region of Mossley is a great tool to aid in the management of culture.
