Abstract : Physico-chemical attributes of 10 mango cultivar was evaluated during 2006-2007. The fruit characteristics of mango cultivar differ from each other. The maximum fruit length (11.7 cm), fruit breadth (6.5 cm), fruit thickness (7 cm) and fruit weight (260 gm/fruit) were recorded with Chausa and minimum fruit length (5.4 cm) and fruit weight (98 gm/fruit) were recorded in cultivar Gilas, whereas, minimum fruit breadth (4.5 cm) and thickness (4.6 cm) were noted with Lucknow Safeda. The T.S.S. of fruit ranged from 17.0 to 19.5°Brix. The maximum T.S.S. (19.5°Brix) was recorded with Chausa and minimum (17.0°Brix) in Mithawa Ghazipur. The keeping quality of fruit was minimum in Bombay Green, Lucknow Safeda and Sinduria (4 days) and maximum in Dashehari and Laddu (10 days). The maximum (4.5 cm) stone length, stone of thickness (2.6 cm) and stone of weight (36.3 gm) were recorded in cultivar Chausa.
