Abstract : The aim was to verify the substract effect in the fruit-fly atractivity in the crops of guava and mango trees in the county of Bananeiras-PB. For the guava trees the experience method used was the one with casual blocks (DBC), with five treatments and four repetitions using forty fly-catcher bottles, each one of the substracts chose at random were part of all the stages. The treatment used for the guava trees were: T1 - witness, T2 - passion fruit juice, T3 - mango juice, T4 - guava juice and T5 - pineapple juice. For the mango trees it was used the DBC method, but in this case three treatments were applied (T1, T2 and T3) and four repetitions. It was possible to conclude that: the treatments were efficient to make the fruit-fly monitoring in the guava and mango trees orchards; in mango and guava trees the food attractives based on mango and guava juice had the best attraction. In the assays it was found the presence of the following species of fruit flies: Ceratitis capitata, Anastrepha fraterculus, A. sororcula, A. zenildae and A. obliqua.
