Abstract : In tests with 4 trees affected by the disorder the addition of K2SO4 to the soil around the roots, plus a trunk injection of monocrotophos (to combat bud mite infestation), inhibited fruit malformation and reduced fruit drop. Insecticide treatment alone was ineffective.
