Abstract : The study was conducted to determine the recent past and short-term future demand for mangoes in the Cebu area, the existing market structure and its performance, and to suggest a marketing system to handle an increase in mango production. Interviews were conducted with 38 mango dealers in the area. Results on production and consumption and on the marketing system are presented and suggestions made for a new marketing system.
