Abstract : Current world-wide production, cultivation problems, and future markets for banana (Musa spp.), pineapple (Ananas comosus), mango (Mangifera indica), avocado (Persea spp.), papaya (Carica papaya), passion fruit, guava, anonas, and macademia are discussed. Needed research and development are outlined.
