Studies on adaptability and application of mango varieties in south subtropical regions of Guizhou.

Abstract : The adaptability of 13 mango varieties in south subtropical regions of Guizhou was studied. The results showed that Jinsui mango, Red ivory, Tainong No. 1, Brilliant mango, Four-season mango, Red mango No. 6 had strong advantages in the production, with the average yield of 7.53-13.48 t/hm and the weighted average yield of 8.78 t/hm at the experimental fruiting stage, and their average yield was 28.28% higher than that of Purple-flower mango (CK1) and QR21/8 (CK2). These 6 mango varieties were suitable for application and popularization in northern Guizhou and the reaches of the Beipan River and the Hongshui River.
