Abstract : The present investigation was carried out to study the effect of post-harvest treatments on different organoleptic qualities of mango fruit cv Amrapali during storage at room temperature. For this purpose fully matured Amrapali mango fruits were subjected to various treatments with hot water, GA3, frutox wax emulsion, A. L. P. F and L. D. P. F, in isolation and in different combinations. Organoleptic evaluation of mango fruits were conducted by score card system with panel of three judges. Results indicated that mango fruits treated with GA3+hot water+Frutox and kept either in ALPF or LDPF bag showed excellent fruit quality at the end of the storage trial. Fruits treated with hot water+frutox and kept in L.D.P.F also resulted in excellent fruit quality. Mango fruits treated with GA3 or Frutox or hot water alone were not found satisfactory in increasing the organoleptic values during storage. The fruits kept at room temperature without any treatment was graded as poor quality.
