Abstract : One to 12-month-old leaves were taken from 26-year-old trees of the mango cv. Dashehari during the March flush. Data are tabulated on Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn and B contents in relation to leaf age. Fe level was similar in leaves of all ages whereas the Zn level decreased with leaf age. The Cu level was low in 1- to 5-month-old leaves, rose slightly in 6- to 8-month-old leaves, declined to a low level in 9-month-old leaves and rose rapidly in 10- to 12-month-old leaves. The Mn level rose gradually to a peak in 10-month-old leaves. B rose to a peak in 4-month-old leaves then declined and rose to a second peak in 12-month-old leaves.
