Combating mango malformation through exogenous application of NAA.

Abstract : In 3-year trials, NAA at 200 p.p.m. applied in mid-October to trees of the mango cvs Dashehari, Bombay Green and Bombay Yellow and to seedling trees reduced malformed panicles more than NAA at 150 or 250 p.p.m. All treatments significantly reduced panicle malformation compared with the control. The effect of treatments varied from year to year and the data are tabulated.
