Abstract : Fruits of the mango cvs Desi, Dasheri, Chausa and Bombay were collected at 20, 50, 65, 75 and 85 days after flowering. Changes were determined in: fresh and dry weight of exocarp, pulp, seed and whole fruit; growth pattern of the developing seeds; protein N, soluble N, non-reducing and reducing sugars and RNA-P and DNA-P in the developing seeds; and in total N and P, protein N and soluble N, non-reducing and reducing sugars and in RNA-P and DNA-P during seed germination. The data are graphically presented.
