Ribonucleic acid, proteins, phenols and amino acids in the leaves in relation to fruit-bud differentiation in 'Langra' mango.

Abstract : Studies with 24-year-old trees of the mango cv. Langra were carried out in on and off years. High leaf levels of RNA and phenols and low levels of amino acids were associated with fruit bud differentiation during the off year. Leaf protein level appeared not to be involved with this process.
