Abstract : Objective: This study is carried out with an aim of rationally organizing the mango industry, which constitutes a significant source of income in Mali. Methodology and results: The approach of detection and inventory used in this study is essentially based on a satellite image exploitation, which presents reliability. Main results show the spatial distribution of mango orchards and the location of those attacked by insects. Conclusions and application: From these results, one can retain that the Remote sensing is greatly instrumental in monitoring and evaluation of the mango sector for its reorganization at Bougouni.
