Abstract : This study looks at the role of a cooperative marketing society of Alphonso mango growers in Deogad taluka, Maharashtra, India. The quantity marketed by the cooperative and the average net price realized by farmer members are examined. It is indicated that the cooperative has been functioning efficiently, with beneficial impact on members due to better selling prices.
